Ett tredje Babyshambles-album, Sequel to the Prequel, kommer att ges ut i början av september. Albumet, som spelades in i Paris men mixades i London tillsammans med samarbetspartnern Stephen Street, företräds av singeln Nothing Comes to Nothing med releasedatum den 26 augusti. I förra veckan uttalade sig Peter Doherty om det kommande albumet i NME:
“I don’t want this to be half arsed, I want to get up there and really fu*king smash it out. Babyshambles aren’t back, this band has always been here”.
