Svenska fans till Iron Maiden har en del att se fram emot. I augusti spelar bandet i Stockholm, på festivalen Sonisphere. Dessutom släpper Iron Maiden nya albumet ”The final frontier” i sommar.

IRON MAIDEN are pleased to announce that their forthcoming new studio album is expected to be released late summer of this year. It will be called ‘THE FINAL FRONTIER’.
The announcement comes with news of a North American Tour with Very Special Guests Dream Theater to open in Dallas, Texas, on 9th June and finish in Washington D.C. on 20th July, making it Maiden’s most extensive North American tour in many years.
Following these shows in USA and Canada The Final Frontier World Tour will travel back to Europe for a few selected major festival and stadium shows (full currently confirmed dates below) with the band planning to continue to many other countries in 2011.

Den stora frågan är egentligen varför vi ska fortsätta att sponsra Iron Maiden Incorprated? Jag kan tänka mig 666 alternativ som är bättre och mer givande. Iron Maiden är ett billigt hopkok av historia, myter, religion, varför utforska det i denna urvattnade form när det går att gå direkt till källorna, inte minst i form av Bibeln.
Att ett kommersiellt tokprojket som pågått i 30 år skapar anhängare som huvudlöst följer dem och kastar pengarna och livet i sjön säger allt om den förvirring som råder. Lämna skeppet, det är hög tid, det finns så mycket annat som förtjänar vår uppmärksamhet. För att citera en känd amerikansk författare: The Cardinal Sin of Art, Sentimentality.
