Blues möter hårdrock – så vill jag beskriva albumet Trans035 Transubstans med The Chair. På ett pressutskick beskriver bandet sin musik som ”70’s hard rock with an attitude.”
Jag gillar det jag hör, oavsett om det ska kallas blues/hårdrock eller 70-tals hårdrock. Det är fullt ös, det är skön bas och det är attityd. Som de själva hävdar.
The Chair består av en sångare från amerikanska singer-songwriter-traditionen och fyra svenskar på gitarr, bas och trummor.
Jag tycker de har rätt skön beskrivning av skivan på pressutskicket:
