In this new music video, Maxim, in a parisian neighborhood with some friends, escapes on a bike for a romantic night. He then enters a whole other universe made of seduction, low lights, fire heating the room and champagne.
For this song born between Paris and Los Angeles with sounds coming from funk, jazz and house and influenced by hip hop, there was an idea of mixing styles visually. To stress that, rap music videos codes coming from the places where the video was shot, outfits, and Maxim moves. We can also find in the behaviors of the characters an invitation to come and share the music and have a good time. Then, Maxim reveals a caring, loving aspect, claiming a duality between two total but assumed universes.
19 years old singer, songwriter and musician, Maxim started to make his first songs at 16, as an independant, between Paris and its suburbs at Grandeville, Dojo and Orfèvre studios. This new project has been entirely recorded and produced in Los Angeles by B&C, under the label 1178records.
He will be performing live, singing and playing guitar and keyboard at the loop sequencer.
His new EP “Sunny Sunday Morning” will be released on October 5 2018 via 1178records. It is mostly influenced by the Jazz, NuSoul and Hip hop is blend of electronic beats, Trap, Funk crossing pop melodies. Maxim clearly wants to make feel the bath identities of this project : when Paris meets California under his vibe laidback and urban, modern and mature.
