Woody Allens nya film – Whatever works – har premiär 22 april, då den inviger Tribeca Film Festival 2009 i närvaro av regissör och skådespelare.
Med Whatever works återvänder Woody Allen till USA och sin hemstad New York, där han inte har filmat sedan 2004.
I rollerna återfinns Larry David (“Curb Your Enthusiasm”), Evan Rachel Wood (“The Wrestler”), Patricia Clarkson (”Vicky Cristina Barcelona”) och Ed Begley Jr. (”Pineapple Express”). Woody Allen står för filmens manus och regi.
Whatever works har premiär på de svenska biograferna den 21 augusti.

Whatever Works revolves around an eccentric man (Larry David) taken into a series of adventures and encounters with his friends from Greenwich, a young woman from the South (Evan Rachel Wood), and her parents.
The movie was filmed in New York City: it marks the return of Woody Allen to the city of his heart after a four film sojourn in Europe. And judging from those pictures of the movie Whatever Works he is going to film the real New York.
