Med sin hybrid av old school- och new school-metal har Five Finger Death Punch länge varit en snackis på undergroundscenen. Genom turnéer tillsammans med bland andra Korn, Disturbed och Slipknot är bandet idag mycket mer än så. Den 24 februari spelar de på Klubben i Stockholm. Biljetterna släpps imorgon den 21 november.
Five Finger Death Punch’s riff och slingor doftar melodisk Euro-trash blandat med grova förolämpningar och fansen har länge refererat till Los Angeles-bandets musik som ”true metal”. Förra året släpptes debuten ”The Way of the Fist” i USA. Den klättrade rakt in på Billboardlistans topp 200 och låg imponerande sju månader på Rock Radio’s Top 40. Billboard Magazine omskrev första singeln, ”The Bleeding”, med orden ”The concert anthem of 2007” och resten av världens rockpress var inte sena med att hålla med. Nu är det äntligen dags för ”The Way of the Fist” att släppas utanför USA:s gränser. Den 19 januari landar albumet i svenska butiker och singeln ”The Bleeding” hör vi i Sverige i dagarna. I februari dyker bandet upp på svensk mark.
