Det blir som att uppleva en ny f\u00f6rest\u00e4llning varje g\u00e5ng och det \u00e4r en viktig anledning till att jag ser samma upps\u00e4ttning flera g\u00e5nger. Det blir ju inte mindre intressant n\u00e4r man kompletterar den egna ensemblen med internationella s\u00e5ngstj\u00e4rnor som nu \u00e4r fallet med Andrea Ch\u00e9nier d\u00e4r Jos\u00e9 Cura sjunger i h\u00e4lften av f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningarna. De tre sista f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningarna sjunger Riccardo Massi och det \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 en tenor av b\u00e4sta m\u00e4rke. I samtliga f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningar medverkar\u00a0 s\u00e5ngstj\u00e4rnor som Maria Jos\u00e9 Siri fr\u00e5n Urugyay och den italienske barytonisten Alberto Gazale.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Andrea Chenier tillh\u00f6r varken operalitteraturens mest k\u00e4nda och b\u00e4sta verk, enligt min uppfattning, vilket ju bevisas av att verket spelas relativt s\u00e4llan i Sverige. Ut\u00f6ver en upps\u00e4ttning p\u00e5\u00a0 nuvarande Wermland Opera f\u00f6r ett tiotal \u00e5r sedan har verket inte getts sedan 1909, med undantag av premi\u00e4ren 2010 b\u00e5da tillf\u00e4llena p\u00e5 Kungliga operan. Det beror i huvudsak, enligt min uppfattning p\u00e5, att musiken inte h\u00e5ller f\u00f6r en helkv\u00e4ll\u00a0 p\u00e5 operan inte ens i fyra korta akter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Min huvudinv\u00e4ndning best\u00e5r dock i att \u00e4ven om musiken uppfyller olika krav, \u00a0som man kan st\u00e4lla, \u00a0upplever jag inte musiken som s\u00e4rskilt ber\u00f6rande. Den p\u00e5minner mig mer om Massenet-stuket och det \u00e4r kanske inte det h\u00f6gsta betyg man kan f\u00e5 \u00e5tminstone inte i min operav\u00e4rld.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Premi\u00e4ren 2010 upplevde jag via P2s direkts\u00e4ndning, men jag s\u00e5g f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningen senare\u00a0 vid ett av mina regelbundet \u00e5terkommande operaresor till kunglig huvudstaden. I g\u00e5r kv\u00e4ll sj\u00f6ngs flera roller av andra s\u00e5ngare \u00e4n vid premi\u00e4ren, men kvar fr\u00e5n d\u00e5 var Susann V\u00e9gh, Johan Edholm och Michael Schmidberger.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">I centrum f\u00f6r intresset stod den argentinske tenoren Jos\u00e9 Cura, som ibland ocks\u00e5 kallas den fj\u00e4rde tenoren, men sj\u00e4lv var jag mer nyfiken p\u00e5 Maria Jose Siri och Alberto Gazale\u00b4s insatser. Gazale k\u00e4nde jag inte till sedan tidigare, men Maria Jose Siri gjorde en fantastisk insats i Il Trittico p\u00e5 Den Kongelige Opera i K\u00f6penhamn tidigt i v\u00e5ras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Det var ocks\u00e5 planerat att hon skulle sjunga Madame Butterfly p\u00e5 Opera Hedeland i augusti f\u00f6rra \u00e5ret, men p\u00e5 grund a v sjukdom ersattes hon av en annan s\u00e5ngstj\u00e4rna Elsebeth Dreisig. Tyv\u00e4rr fick jag ingen m\u00f6jlighet att uppleva den upps\u00e4ttningen \u00f6verhuvudtaget och inf\u00f6r g\u00e5rdagens nypremi\u00e4r var jag lite orolig att s\u00e5ngf\u00e5geln fr\u00e5n Uruguay skulle drabbas av sjukdom. En oro som underbyggdes av att n\u00e4stan all medial uppm\u00e4rksamhet kretsade kring Jos\u00e9 Cura. Visst tillh\u00f6r han den yppersta eliten av dagens tenoren, men ryktet om hans f\u00f6rm\u00e5ga \u00e4r ganska upphaussat \u00e5tminstone enligt min uppfattning.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Detta \u00e4r tredje g\u00e5ngen jag upplever Jos\u00e9 Cura direkt p\u00e5 en operascen och jag skulle fara med osanning om jag bestod att jag var s\u00e4rskilt imponerad av hans insatser, varken i Cavalleria Rusticana\/Pajazzo p\u00e5 DKT eller som Cavaradossi\u00a0 p\u00e5 Kungliga Operan, men egentligen \u00e4r det inte hans s\u00e5nginsatser som jag \u00e4r kritisk till. \u00a0Det handlar mer om fenomenet att han flygs in till en f\u00f6rest\u00e4llning n\u00e5gra dagar i f\u00f6rv\u00e4g och \u00e4r allts\u00e5 p\u00e5 intet s\u00e4tt involverad fr\u00e5n b\u00f6rjan i arbetet med att f\u00e5 fram en upps\u00e4ttning, vilket jag anser \u00e4r n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndigt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Det \u00e4r visserligen ett fenomen som han delar med andra s\u00e5ngare p\u00e5 den absoluta toppniv\u00e5n, men jag gillar det inte och det d\u00e4r \u00e4r egentligen bara acceptabelt om en annan s\u00e5ngare flygs in f\u00f6r att ers\u00e4tta en sjuk eller indisponerad kollega.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Efter att ha upplevt g\u00e5rdagens nypremi\u00e4r \u00e4r jag \u00e5tminstone beredd att omv\u00e4rdera min uppfattning om hans s\u00e5nginsatser. I \u00f6vrigt kvarst\u00e5r min uppfattning. Cura svarade f\u00f6r en utomordentligt fin insats och det finns inte n\u00e5got \u00f6vrigt att \u00f6nska sig.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Duetten med v\u00e5r egen Linus B\u00f6rjesson och den tillsammans med Maria Jose Siri tillh\u00f6r f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningens absoluta h\u00f6jdpunkter, och\u00a0 i duetten med Rocher dvs Linus B\u00f6rjesson \u00a0f\u00f6rsvarade Linus de svenska f\u00e4rgerna mycket bra. Linus g\u00e5r f\u00f6r \u00f6vrigt fr\u00e5n klarhet till klarhet, men till saken h\u00f6r att jag har gillat honom sedan jag h\u00f6rde hans version av S\u00e5ngen till aftonstj\u00e4rnan ur Tannh\u00e4user f\u00f6r nu r\u00e4tt m\u00e5nga \u00e5r sedan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">En annan h\u00f6jdpunkt s\u00e5v\u00e4l musikaliskt som s\u00e5ngligt \u00e4r n\u00e4r Maria Jose Siri sjunger\u00a0 den enda k\u00e4nda arian fr\u00e5n operan dvs \u201cLa mamma morta\u201d, en g\u00e5ng ett av Maria Callas paradnummer, men som \u00e4nd\u00e5 s\u00e4kert \u00e4r mest k\u00e4nd fr\u00e5n filmen Philadelphia med Tom Hanks i huvudrollen.Man hade kunnat h\u00f6ra en knappn\u00e5l falla i salongen under framf\u00f6randet. Det var utan tvekan den b\u00e4sta operaupplevelsen som jag har upplevt med honom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Nu var det ju inte bara Linus B\u00f6rjesson som svarade f\u00f6r utm\u00e4rkta insatser utan detta g\u00e4ller f\u00f6r ensemblen i sin helhet\u00a0 och s\u00e4rskilt roligt var det att f\u00e5 uppleva Magnus Kyhle i en roll d\u00e4r han ocks\u00e5 fick sjunga och inte bara \u00e5ka runt i en rullstol. Imponerad blev jag ocks\u00e5 av Susann Vegh, som \u00e4r en s\u00e5ngerska som jag inte h\u00f6r s\u00e4rskilt ofta. \u00c4ven \u00f6vriga solister svarade f\u00f6r \u00a0utm\u00e4rkta prestationer och mycket bra var som vanligt medlemmarna i operak\u00f6ren .<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">Hovkapellet under ledning av Pier Giorgio Morandi svarade ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6r en en fin och energisk insats \u00e4ven om jag inte precis gillade musiken f\u00f6re paus, men efter pausen f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrades musiken i en mer dramatisk \u00a0och ber\u00f6rande riktning och d\u00e5 visade sig orkestern p\u00e5 styva linan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\">H\u00f6gsta po\u00e4ng f\u00e5r ocks\u00e5 f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningen f\u00f6r sina vackra kostymer, typ bakverk och f\u00f6r den scenografiska l\u00f6sningen med den r\u00f6rliga guldramen, som anv\u00e4ndes med m\u00e5tta och \u00e5terh\u00e5llsamhet. Det finns ju dessutom m\u00f6jlighet att ha olika uppfattningar om inneb\u00f6rden av att anv\u00e4nda en j\u00e4ttestor guldram som inramning av scen och handling.<\/p>\n<p style=\"border: 0px;font-family: inherit;font-size: inherit;font-style: inherit;font-variant: inherit;font-weight: inherit;line-height: inherit;margin: 1.6em 0px;padding: 0px;vertical-align: baseline\"><a
