Ist\u00e4llet f\u00f6r ett sedvanligt pressmeddelande har de sl\u00e4ppt n\u00e5got som liknar ett politiskt manifest.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Shaking the Habitual<\/em> ges ut den 8 april och du kan l\u00e4sa &#8221;manifestet&#8221; i sin helhet h\u00e4r:<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8221;SOME FEELING IN THE BELLIES OF THE TANKERS WHO PASS US MAKING SAD MANIC BONGS LIKE DRUMS<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Everybody is always desiring already imagined things.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> When we travel between thresholds, people say: &#8217;you\u2019re hiding.&#8217;<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Not everything can be so easily explained.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We have a bellyache, a big stink, a major grouse or two with manufactured knowledge.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> But how do you build an album about not knowing?<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Now your voice is in my throat, floating there\u2026<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Often people take pills for these things.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> To us the body is no longer psychological.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> It\u2019s certainly not a container, we don\u2019t believe in metaphors.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Like dog\/wolf\u2014there aren\u2019t many anymore.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Still at twilight something blurs over your shoulder.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Which is it?<\/em><br \/>\n<em> It\u2019s prickly.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Our hair is out.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We have made some decisions.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> We want to fail more, act without authority.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Plus there\u2019s something phlegmatic about the world state don\u2019t you think?<\/em><br \/>\n<em> There\u2019s a blood system promoting biology as destiny.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> A series of patriarchies that\u2019s a problem to the Nth degree.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> What about hyper-capitalism, this homicidal class system, the school system that\u2019s kaput?<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Then there are castles everywhere\u2014look at them fake tanning and signing autographs!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>At least there\u2019s one thing we stand behind.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> There\u2019s still an ecosystem right? And here\u2019s this sound system.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> We dusted it off. Electronic is just one place in the body. We went temporarily acoustic.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> We made our own instruments. We took an old bedspring, a microphone and:<\/em><br \/>\n<em>&#8217;Stay out here\u2026&#8217;<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Now we\u2019re bending our voices to sound like Emily R., who recorded the track on her cellphone speaker.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>No habits!<\/em><br \/>\n<em> There are other ways to do things.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Still sometimes it all seems so bad.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Don\u2019t worry we won\u2019t commit Harakiri, stomach cutting or anything like it.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> The honor system is corrupt, just another privilege.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Like how it\u2019s a privilege to make an album, to move freely.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We just have to go faster we mean breakneck we mean &#8217;like crazy.&#8217;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>How at 5am that warehouse beat is coming up like sour steam.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> All over the dance floor we\u2019re asking: can this DNA turn into something else?<\/em><br \/>\n<em> It\u2019s not metaphorical. It\u2019s explicit.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> There are surgeries and fantasies and holes sweating through the wall.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> It\u2019s a question about feelings. It\u2019s a question about who gets to risk.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But things don\u2019t change so easily.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> There\u2019s still Monsanto, fracking and &#8217;terminator seeds.&#8217;<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Every morning we wake up wondering: who\u2019s kicking who on the street corner?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Now we have to start. We choose process over everything else.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Letting go of outcomes is another privilege.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> Keep it lateral.<\/em><br \/>\n<em> We ask our friends to help.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Together we leave the village and walk down the road. The light starts exercising itself. The old sun is out in his winter jumpsuit doing sit-ups and squat thrusts between the nettles and moldy brush.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>10 more! We say to him. Get shaking!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Our walk gets longer. It\u2019s a walk in the panpipes of the body. We come to the edge. So much water. The ocean is twice its original size. We take a bunch of surveys. They know everything about us. We don\u2019t buy what they say. We take a heap of estrogen. All around us things are howling and then we stand on the pier end. The light is pink and green and pink and green. It reminds us of home\u2014like we imagine it could be. But when the color pancakes out over the horizon, we don\u2019t know what we\u2019re looking at. That\u2019s ok.
