Inf\u00f6r Way Out Wests st\u00f6rsta publik bj\u00f6d legendarerna fr\u00e5n D\u00fcsseldorf, \u00e5tminstone till en b\u00f6rjan, p\u00e5 en h\u00e4ftig audiovisuell lyxupplevelse. Men i takt med att 3D-effekterna efter inledningen &#8211; som bj\u00f6d p\u00e5 s\u00e5v\u00e4l robotar och rymdskepp som kubiska stadsanimationer &#8211; blev n\u00e5got oinspirerade p\u00e5mindes jag ist\u00e4llet om hur deras elektroniska musik \u00e4n idag st\u00e5r i framkanten.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c4ven om showen, som tidigare framf\u00f6rts p\u00e5 Modern Museum of Art i New York, p\u00e5 f\u00f6rhand kanske inte l\u00e5ter som en ultimat festivalspelning fungerar det faktiskt f\u00f6rv\u00e5nansv\u00e4rt bra p\u00e5 Way Out West. En blytung bas som fick hela kroppen att vibrera fick det faktum att\u00a0Ralf H\u00fctter \u00e4r enda kvarvarande originalmedlemmen att te sig som en irrelevant sidomarkering. Egentligen hade ju alla bandmedlemmar lika g\u00e4rna kunna ers\u00e4ttas av robotar &#8211; det bjuds varken p\u00e5 lives\u00e5ng eller mellansnack. P\u00e5 scen st\u00e5r bara fyra m\u00e4n i olika storlekar som knappt r\u00f6r p\u00e5 sig.<\/p>\n<p>I <em>Trans-Europe Express<\/em> \u00e4r sp\u00f6ket fr\u00e5n Bowies Berlin-era \u00e4n idag n\u00e4rvarande, men f\u00f6r min del \u00e4r h\u00f6jdpunkten n\u00e4r vi under <em>Numbers<\/em>\u00a0&#8211; som \u00f6verg\u00e5r i <em>Computer World<\/em> &#8211; f\u00e5r se v\u00e4rlden ur en robots perspektiv.
