P\u00e5 90-talet b\u00f6rjade han experimentera med en ny form av musikteater. Goebbels tyckte att teatern fokuserade f\u00f6r mycket p\u00e5 textens mening och att andra aspekter, som textens inneboende musikalitet, fick f\u00f6r lite fokus.<\/p>\n<p>I went to the house but did not enter bygger p\u00e5 fyra texter av T.S. Elliot, Maurice Blanchot, Franz Kafka och Samuel Beckett. Alla scenerna framf\u00f6rs av fyra herrar kl\u00e4dda i korrekta 50-talskl\u00e4der \u2013 gr\u00e5 kostym, hatt, \u00f6verrock. De fyra sk\u00e5despelarna utg\u00f6r tillsammans The Hilliard Ensemble och st\u00f6rre delen av texterna sjungs. Det \u00e4r en vemodig och s\u00e4vlig st\u00e4ms\u00e5ng som \u00e4r vacker att lyssna p\u00e5 om \u00e4n lite s\u00f6vande. Efter att ha sjungit igenom en k\u00e4rlekss\u00e5ng av T.S. Elliot b\u00e4r de in en ny flyttkartong och packar upp motsvarande saker, men i en annan f\u00e4rg.<\/p>\n<p>Den mest sp\u00e4nnande scenen tycker jag \u00e4r den d\u00e4r de fyra befinner sig inuti ett hus, som vi ser utifr\u00e5n. Scenens text, som framf\u00f6rs i b\u00e5de tal och s\u00e5ng, \u00e4r Maurice Blanchards intrikata The Madness of the Day.
