F\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen jag kom i kontakt med denna halvgudinna var p\u00e5 Way Out West 2009, det var som en uppenbarelse. Hon hade nyligen sl\u00e4ppt debutskivan \u201dLungs\u201d och jag var som besatt i \u00f6ver ett \u00e5r fram\u00f6ver.<\/p>\n<p>Med nya skivan \u201dCeremonials\u201d i bagaget gav hon en exklusiv spelning p\u00e5 Intima Teatern i Stockholm. F\u00f6rutom \u201dDog Days Are Over\u201d spelade hon enbart nya l\u00e5tar, men upplevelsen var minst lika religi\u00f6s, jag blev \u00e5tminstone lika m\u00e5ll\u00f6s, som f\u00f6rsta g\u00e5ngen jag s\u00e5g henne. Av de nya l\u00e5tarna har jag speciellt fattat tycke f\u00f6r \u201dNo Light, No Light\u201d, \u201dShake It Out\u201d och \u201dNever Let Me Go\u201d vilka hon inledde konserten med. P\u00e5 skivan sv\u00e4var de p\u00e5 gr\u00e4nsen till \u00f6verproduktion men live \u00e4r de sl\u00e5ende fl\u00e4ckfria.<\/p>\n<p>Pianisten driver l\u00e5tarna fram\u00e5t medan harpan och de akustiska gitarren bidrar till den esoteriska ljudbilden. Trots den nedtonade s\u00e4ttningen har hennes r\u00f6st n\u00e5gonting magiskt \u00f6ver sig som liksom \u00e4r st\u00f6rre \u00e4n den h\u00e4r v\u00e4rlden. Det \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt att inte bli helt st\u00e4lld.<\/p>\n<p>Alla verkar vara \u00f6verens om att hennes r\u00f6st har utvecklats. Den har visserligen alltid varit stark men nu k\u00e4nns den om m\u00f6jligt \u00e4n mer pricks\u00e4ker. Hennes sj\u00e4lfulla r\u00f6st blir som en f\u00f6rl\u00e4ngning av henne sj\u00e4lv. Det \u00e4r beundransv\u00e4rt att en artist kan vara s\u00e5 \u00e4rlig och sj\u00e4lvutl\u00e4mnande, hela publiken snappar upp varenda r\u00f6relse.
