Med trettiotv\u00e5 l\u00e5tar som str\u00e4ckte sig over tv\u00e5 och en halv timme tog de oss p\u00e5 en \u00e5ktur genom ett kalejdoskop av k\u00e4nslor och sinnesst\u00e4mningar. Fr\u00e5n storslagen romantik till schizofren pop och blytung domedagsexistentialism f\u00f6r att sedan bjuda p\u00e5 en hitkavalkad utan dess like. Efter \u00f6ver trettio \u00e5r i branschen \u00e4r det sannerligen f\u00e5 band som kan j\u00e4mforas med Storbritanniens mest excentriska och atmosf\u00e4riska popband.<\/p>\n<p>Med den nya bandupps\u00e4ttningen (igen) skulle ljudbilden visa sig bli n\u00e5got mer kraftfull \u00e4n tidigare vilket tyv\u00e4rr gick ut \u00f6ver melodierna. Som ensam gitarrist k\u00e4mpade Robert Smith med att v\u00e4va samman rytm- och leadgitarrer samtidigt som han hade fullt upp med att sjunga vilket resulterade i att <em>Disintegration<\/em>, som vanligtvis brukar tillh\u00f6ra mina favoriter, k\u00e4ndes som Godzillas fall. Nej, ikv\u00f6ll var det popd\u00e4ngornas kv\u00e4ll. Vem kan tacka nej till klassiker som <em>Love Song<\/em>,\u00a0<em>In Between Days<\/em> och <em>Just Like Heaven<\/em>.
