Bra val, flera mycket bra album. Att de svenska utvalda albumen \u00e4r bra har nog m\u00e5nga svenska musikintressade koll p\u00e5. Vi p\u00e5 Kulturbloggen rekommenderar er att ocks\u00e5 lyssna in er p\u00e5 norska Susanne Sundf\u00f8r och hennes album The Brothel. H\u00e4r var vi p\u00e5 en spelning med henne i Stockholm. Lite fakta om juryn till det nordiska musikpriset:<\/p>\n

The national nomination processes have involved music journalists and industry professionals from each of the five Nordic countries. The leaders of the nomination process in their respective countries were:
\nJan Gradvall \u2013 Sweden
\nAudun Vinger \u2013 Norway
\nArnar Eggert Thoroddsen \u2013 Iceland
\nIlkka Mattila \u2013 Finland
\nRalf Christensen \u2013 Denmark
\nThe final choice of nominees was made by a joint Nordic nomination Committee, the leaders of each national committee as seen above and one additional journalist from each country.
\nThe 12 nominated albums will be presented for an international jury who in turn will decide the winner of the Nordic Music Prize. The Nordic Music Prize is presented during by:Larm in Oslo the 17th-19th of February 2011.

\nRob Young – Author of the new book Electric Eden, former editor of The Wire, now writer for Uncut and The Wire.
\nAndres Lokko – Scandianavias most influential music writer. Now based in London. Writes for Svenska Dagbladet.
\nLaurence Bell – Owner of Domino Records
\nJeannette Lee – Former member of P.I.L. Owner of Rough Trade Records with Geoff Travis. Manager of Duffy.
\nMatthew Schnipper – Writer for The Fader.
\nMike Pickering – Former Factory Records employee, now A&R at Columbia Records UK.<\/p>\n
