Det var en av de l\u00e5tar som gjorde det m\u00f6jligt f\u00f6r indierocken att \u00e4ntra en ny kompromissl\u00f6s fas och den banade \u00e4ven v\u00e4g f\u00f6r amerikanska sj\u00e4lsfr\u00e4nder i stil med Sonic Youth och Dinosaur Jr. N\u00e4sta \u00e5r firar bandet 40 \u00e5r och beger sig ut p\u00e5 turn\u00e9 med tre stopp i Sverige \u2013 3 april p\u00e5 Pustervik i G\u00f6teborg, 6 april p\u00e5 M\u00fcnchenbryggeriet i Stockholm och 7 april p\u00e5 Plan B i Malm\u00f6. Biljettsl\u00e4pp fredag 1 december klockan 10.00 via Luger.se!<\/p>\n<p>Efter sex album och m\u00e5nga \u00e5r av anstr\u00e4ngd relation mellan Jim och William splittrades The Jesus and Mary Chain 1999. \u00c5tta \u00e5r senare \u00e5terf\u00f6renades bandet f\u00f6r ett gig p\u00e5 Coachella (d\u00e4r Scarlett Johansson gjorde dem s\u00e4llskap p\u00e5 scen i Lost In Translation-bekanta l\u00e5ten Just Like Honey) och \u00e4r sedan dess \u00e5ter aktivt med ett nytt album \u2013 Glasgow Eyes \u2013 p\u00e5 ing\u00e5ng i v\u00e5r.
