Triangle of Sadness blev besegrad i samtliga tre kategorier den var nominerad i av \u201dEverything everywhere all at once\u201d. I en intervju p\u00e5pekade Ruben \u00d6stlund f\u00f6re galan att han inte v\u00e4ntade sig vinna eftersom de var s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga oerh\u00f6rt bra filmer som var nominerade och m\u00e5nga som tagit hem en m\u00e4ngd priser redan.<\/p>\n<p>Det andra svenska hoppet f\u00f6r en Oscars-statyett, Ludwig G\u00f6ransson f\u00f6r l\u00e5ten \u201dLift Me Up\u201d till Marvel-filmen \u201dBlack Panther. Wakanda Forever\u201d som han skrivit som tillsammans med Rihanna fick inte priset f\u00f6r b\u00e4sta originall\u00e5t. Den statyetten gick till \u201dNaatu naatu\u201d fr\u00e5n den indiska filmen \u201dRRR\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Det av filmkritiker s\u00e5 hyllade filmen \u201dT\u00e1r\u201d med Cate Blanchett i titelrollen fick ocks\u00e5 g\u00e5 hem utan en enda statyett liksom Spielbergs Fabelmans.<\/p>\n<p>Galans n\u00e4st-st\u00f6rsta vinnare blev Edward Bergers \u201dP\u00e5 v\u00e4stfronten intet nytt\u201d som bygger p\u00e5 efter Erich Maria Remarques klassiska roman fr\u00e5n 1929.
