Hennes m\u00e5l \u00e4r att skriva. Hon l\u00e4ngtar till ensamheten f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 mycket tid att skriva. Matilda Ragnerstam g\u00f6r ett portr\u00e4tt av en ung kvinna som m\u00e5ste k\u00e4mpa f\u00f6r sitt arbetsliv i en mansdominerad v\u00e4rld. Hon \u00e4r obeveklig i sin r\u00e4ttframhet och l\u00e5ter sig inte smickras eller \u00f6vertalas. Men n\u00e4r hon som 19-\u00e5ring blir gravid med sin gifta chef blir skandalen ett faktum. Att hon efter f\u00f6rlossningen beh\u00f6vde l\u00e4mna sin son i ett annat hem och f\u00f6rst f\u00e5 hem honom i tre\u00e5rs\u00e5ldern var n\u00e5got som p\u00e5verkade henne hela livet. N\u00e4r hon sedan tr\u00e4ffade Sture (Anders Berg) gifte hon sig och \u00e4ktenskapet h\u00f6ll till 1952.<\/p>\n<p>Det \u00e4r f\u00f6rst n\u00e4r den \u00e4ldre Astrid (Mia Benson) portr\u00e4tteras som hon blir mer m\u00e4nsklig.<br \/>\nV\u00e4nskapen med Elsa (Sandra Huldt) v\u00e4xer och livet mer gl\u00e4djefyllt.<\/p>\n<p>Historien ber\u00e4ttas inte helt kronologiskt men verklighetsn\u00e4ra . Scenrummet \u00e4r tr\u00e4plattor p\u00e5 golv och v\u00e4ggar med endast en skrivmaskin som \u00f6vrig attiralj. Det \u00e4r mycket koreografi p\u00e5 scenen som utf\u00f6rs genom f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningen. Det tillf\u00f6r<br \/>\ninte f\u00f6rest\u00e4llningen inneh\u00e5ll utan blir mest distraherande.<\/p>\n<p>Trots att pj\u00e4sen marknadsf\u00f6rs som en fri fantasi om Astrid Lindgren \u00e4r bilden av den unga Astrid ganska ensidig. Hennes f\u00f6rsta bok om Pippi L\u00e5ngstrump och hur hon fick den antagen omn\u00e4mns men \u00f6vriga alster \u00e4r det tyst om.
