Under tolv \u00e5r bar Erik Berglin med sig sina 4982 i\u00f6gonfallande f\u00e5gelbilder i naturlig storlek, och valde sedan noga ut nya platser f\u00f6r dem i st\u00e4der som Rio de Janeiro, Casablanca, New York och Berlin. Med en dokument\u00e4rfotografs blick och med naturfotografens zoom-objektiv har han d\u00e4refter dokumenterat varje f\u00e5gel i sin nya milj\u00f6.
