Duran Durans nya singel \u201cMORE JOY! feat. CHAI\u201d – \u00e4r det andra smakprovet fr\u00e5n deras kommande och femtonde album \u201cFuture Past\u201d, som sl\u00e4pps den 22 oktober.<\/p>\n

Ett pressmeddelande ber\u00e4ttar om nya singeln:
\nP\u00e5 \u201cMORE JOY!\u201d s\u00e5 \u00e4r det precis gl\u00e4dje Duran Duran vill skapa; de f\u00f6rdjupar sin v\u00e4lk\u00e4nda musikaliska energi samtidigt som de l\u00e4gger till discopunk-doftande J-pop genom samarbetet med CHAI; tjejpunkbandet fr\u00e5n Nagoya i Japan.<\/p>\n

H\u00e4r visar ocks\u00e5 Duran Duran varf\u00f6r de fortfarande \u00e4r ett av v\u00e5r tids mest relevanta och fram\u00e5tblickande band. Med snabba synthar, tung percussion och CHAIs hejarops-liknande k\u00f6rer framkallar l\u00e5ten ren gl\u00e4dje!<\/p>\n

Keyboardisten Nick Rhodes ber\u00e4ttar om nya singeln: \u201cThe song \u2018MORE JOY!\u2019 was born out of a crazy jam with Duran Duran, Graham Coxon and Erol Alkan. It was such an unusual piece we weren\u2019t quite sure if it would fit in at first. It reminded me of one of those retro Japanese video games, which I always found quite uplifting. We came up with the chant \u201cmore joy\u201d early on, and that became the key to the rest of the track. We all agreed that it would sound really great with Japanese female voices on it, and that\u2019s when Simon had the inspired idea to ask CHAI if they would possibly collaborate with us. To our joy they agreed, and the result most certainly brought an incredible new energy to the song. They are so special!!<\/p>\n

Simon Le Bon ber\u00e4ttar om samarbetet med CHAI: \u201cNick suggested some girlish voices on ’MORE JOY!’ and I knew exactly where to find them – CHAI, post-modern, all-girl Japanese punk band, whose energy and pure sense of fun might actually blow your ears off! We are honoured to have them sprinkle their pink neon magic spikey dust onto our song. Now it’s ’MORE JOY!’ (feat. CHAI). CHAI – beloved forever!\u201d<\/p>\n

CHAI om samarbetet:\u201cWe are full of joy! When Duran Duran asked us to join their new song, we listened to it and thought \u2018this is lively, rock, cool and fun\u2019, and we danced! We added our voices to their rock sound, making it even more ”MORE JOY”! Because we are MORE JOY. Thank you Duran Duran!\u201d<\/p>\n
