S\u00e5 l\u00e4t det 2016 d\u00e5 Hinds sl\u00e4ppte sitt f\u00f6rsta studioalbum <em>Leave me alone<\/em>. P\u00e5 nya plattan <em>I Don&#8217;t Run<\/em>\u00a0h\u00f6rs helt andra tong\u00e5ngar.<\/p>\n<p>Vad h\u00e4nde? Allt som gjorde kvartetten fr\u00e5n det soliga Spanien s\u00e5 bra &#8211; k\u00e4nslan f\u00f6r melodier, festhum\u00f6ret och det charmigt opretenti\u00f6sa &#8211; \u00e4r n\u00e4ra p\u00e5 som bortbl\u00e5st.<\/p>\n<p><em>I Don&#8217;t Run<\/em> \u00e4r i Hinds-m\u00e5tt m\u00e4tt en ovanligt tr\u00e5kig skiva. Albumet saknar sp\u00e4nningsmoment. Bandet\u00a0vill tv\u00e4tta bort \u201cfestprisse st\u00e4mpeln\u201d, men \u00e4r ovana vid det nya avskalade formatet. Resultatet \u00e4r opersonlig och fisljummen sn\u00e4llpop.<\/p>\n<p>Som tur \u00e4r har det hemmasnickrade soundet bibeh\u00e5llits. K\u00e4nslan av att allt spelats in i bandets sovrum med distade mikrofoner och skr\u00e4nig s\u00e5ng kvarst\u00e5r. Temat \u00e4r k\u00e4rleken- den trasiga ofullkomliga och storartade K\u00e4rleken.\u00a0 I sina underfundiga beskrivningar tr\u00e4ffar damerna som vanligt r\u00e4tt &#8211; \u201cOh then you ring my bell i wanna feel ready for your smell.\u201d <em>Rookie<\/em> handlar om romansen, om de f\u00f6rsta trevande stegen att n\u00e4rma sig en annan m\u00e4nniska. \u201cI don&#8217;t know have clear I get if i lay on your chest.\u201d <em>Tester<\/em> \u00e4r en av f\u00e5 upptempo-l\u00e5tar.\u00a0 H\u00e4r forts\u00e4tter de att rida p\u00e5 k\u00e4rlekens v\u00e5g i en sm\u00e5-sv\u00e4ngig men opersonlig bit som l\u00e4mnar mig blank. <em>To the Morning Light<\/em> \u00e4r solkskenspop med distade gitarrer och skr\u00e4nig s\u00e5ng.\u00a0<em>Ma nuit\u00a0<\/em>akustisk visa med fin s\u00e5ng och en gnutta espanol. De elva l\u00e5tarna \u00e4r st\u00f6pta i en minimalistisk form. Det \u00e4r en smaksak, men jag f\u00f6redrar det riviga f\u00f6re de sparsmakade Hinds. Inledningssp\u00e5ret <em>Club <\/em>\u00e4r som skivan i sin helhet b\u00e5de sl\u00e4pig och s\u00f6mnig. Och det blir inte b\u00e4ttre ju l\u00e4ngre fram p\u00e5 skivan jag lyssnar.<\/p>\n<p><em>I Don&#8217;t Run<\/em> \u00e4r v\u00e4lpolerad, men opersonlig. Den\u00a0saknar geisten fr\u00e5n fjol-fjol\u00e5rets Hinds.
