Det \u00e4r lugnet efter stormen. Avskalat och naket sjunger Sundfor om jobbiga k\u00e4nslor och ol\u00e4kta s\u00e5r. Med den vackraste lyrik sveper hon in oss i en filt av v\u00e4lbehag, men ocks\u00e5 av kyla och r\u00e4dsla f\u00f6r en v\u00e4rld i brand. Politik, tragik och dramatik \u00e4r i \u00e4kta Shakespeare-anda Sundfors melodi. Inledande sp\u00e5ren <em>Mantra<\/em> och <em>Reincarnation<\/em> ger oss fin akustisk country med en Sundfor ikl\u00e4dd Emmylou Harris kl\u00e4der. <em>Undercover<\/em> \u00e4r sammetslen pop med k\u00e4nslosam s\u00e5ng till bakgrund av en bombastisk ljudbild. Och <em>Good Luck, Bad Luck<\/em> avskalad visa d\u00e4r s\u00e5ngerskan, likt en Anna Von Hausswoff, s\u00e4tter sig vid pianot &#8211; en k\u00e4nslosam bit om felande k\u00e4rlek vars slut \u00f6verg\u00e5r i ett sk\u00f6nt jazz-gung med v\u00e4ltrimmade saxofoner. Sundfor r\u00f6r sig hemtamt mellan genrer &#8211; jazz, country, pop och kyrkomusik samtidigt som hon tillf\u00f6r n\u00e5got nytt till bordet. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kyrkklockor, porlande b\u00e4ckar och jet-plan. Viljan till experiment och lekfullhet har knappast upph\u00f6rt. P\u00e5 samma g\u00e5ng \u00e4r <em>Music For People In Trouble<\/em> stramt \u00e5th\u00e5llen. Det k\u00e4nns skolat. Lite v\u00e4l. Peaken kommer i sista stroffen. Sundfors samverkan med estrad\u00f6ren John Grant har mynnat ut i en av \u00e5rets mest lyckade och sp\u00e4nnande kollaborationer &#8211; Mountaineers. <\/span>Grants skanderande mot Sundfors klara st\u00e4mma och den sakrala musiken. Det \u00e4r sann magi.<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Music For People In Trouble<\/em> \u00e4r ett ambiti\u00f6st musikbygge, miniti\u00f6st utf\u00f6rt ner till minsta tonartsbyte. Men bland kvinnliga sing a song writer \u00e4r konkurensen h\u00e5rd. Bj\u00f6rks <em>Vulnicura<\/em> och Newsoms <em>Divers<\/em> \u00e4r innovativa klassiker, vars verksh\u00f6jd Sundfors nya album inte n\u00e5r. Inte heller tar den sig till f\u00f6reg\u00e5ngarens h\u00f6jder.
