Nite Jewels fj\u00e4rde skivsl\u00e4pp \u00e4r den mest fokuserade hittills, men \u00e4r l\u00e5ngt ifr\u00e5n det verkliga genombrott vi alla v\u00e4ntar p\u00e5.<\/p>\n<p><em>Liquid Cool\u00a0<\/em>var en giftig soppa av synt och modern R &amp; B, som tyv\u00e4rr inte gifte sig med mina smakl\u00f6kar.\u00a0<em>Real High<\/em>\u00a0\u00e4r som skiva sn\u00e4ppet b\u00e4ttre \u00e4n sin f\u00f6reg\u00e5ngare. Vi h\u00f6r en mindre kommersiell Romana Gonzalez sjunga om brustna hj\u00e4rtan. Men f\u00f6r ett h\u00f6gre betyg kr\u00e4vs ett personligare\u00a0uttryck.<\/p>\n<p><em>Real High<\/em>\u00a0\u00e4r den till dags datum mest fokuserade skivan i Ramona Gonzalez karri\u00e4r. Ramona bjuder p\u00e5 snygg, minimalistisk syntpop och krispig funk som minner om 90-tals R &amp; B och spr\u00f6d Janet Jacksson-pop. Men de svala tong\u00e5ngarna av fj\u00e4derl\u00e4tt pop bl\u00e5ser l\u00e4tt bort i vinden.\u00a0Det \u00e4r synd n\u00e4r ambitionen \u00e4r\u00a0s\u00e5 pass stor.\u00a0Ramonas r\u00f6st, den sammetslena sk\u00f6ra, skapar ett lugn som sprider sig i rummet. Och musiken \u00e4r ett proffsbygge f\u00e5 artister fr\u00e5n electro-musiktr\u00e4sket m\u00e4ktar med. Nite Jewel \u00e4r en amerikansk sing a song writer, f\u00f6dd och uppv\u00e4xt i LA, Kalifornien, som med vart slutf\u00f6rt album tagit tydliga kliv fram\u00e5t.<\/p>\n<p>F\u00f6rra plattan\u00a0<em>Liquid Cool<\/em>\u00a0beskrevs av mig som dr\u00f6msk och vacker, men f\u00f6r oprogressiv syntmusik. \u00a0<em>Real High<\/em>\u00a0dras med samma problem, men p\u00e5 den musikaliska tidsresan\u00a0tillbaka till 90-talets disco- och Janet Jacksson-vurm finns m\u00e5nga minnesv\u00e4rda stopp som avskalade\u00a0<em>Real High<\/em>\u00a0om s\u00f6kandet efter den stora kicken d\u00e4r snygga ekon och reverb tillsammans med Ramonas sm\u00e4ktande st\u00e4mma omfamnar en kr\u00e4sen musikt\u00f6nt. Och\u00a0<em>Answer<\/em>\u00a0\u00e4r h\u00e4rlig sv\u00e4va- p\u00e5-molnet-pop som lyckas h\u00e5lla sig \u00f6ver ytan i ett annars kyligt vatten av syntmusik.<\/p>\n<p><em>Real High<\/em>\u00a0\u00e4r kompetent, men saknar det lilla extra.
